Product overview
This customized heavy-duty cylinder uses a bolted gland head with a full multi-bolt circle, so the head can be removed for seal service without cutting welds. The rear clevis gives a pinned connection at the fixed end, and the keyed rod end transfers torque to the driven member. Designed for shock-loaded mill and press duty.
Product overview
A customized mill-duty cylinder for shock-loaded service. The bolted gland head carries peak pressure with a full circle of high-tensile bolts and allows straightforward seal replacement in the field. The rear clevis and keyed rod end give positive pinned connections at both ends of the drive.
Barrel wall, bolt circle, bearing length and rod diameter are sized to the customer’s pressure and shock conditions rather than to a catalogue standard.
